For attorneys and fiduciaries

When a firearm appears on the inventory, refer it and carry on with the estate.

Firearmdesk takes the operational work of a firearm asset off the estate practitioner's desk: authority verification, licensed custody, valuation, executor instruction, tracking of the sale or transfer, and closure, with your firm's visibility intact.

Where custody stands: Receipt into dealer custody opens once counsel confirms the court order is operative; until then we open the matter, verify authority and gather documents, and the custody step waits with its evidence. Legal basis and updates.
Operational pain removed

Six things we take off your desk.

One referral instead of multiple calls

A single online referral opens the matter. No phoning dealers, valuers and family members to find out where a firearm is and who may hold it.

Coordination across service areas

Licensed custody sites are allocated by service area, capacity and capability. Collection or handover is scheduled with the executor.

Secure digital evidence

Photographs, serial records, receipts and letters of executorship are held in the platform, scanned before viewing and served through short-lived links. Nothing sensitive is emailed.

Status visible at any time

Plain-language status and the next-action owner for every matter, milestone emails at each stage and exceptions only when something needs your firm.

A complete final matter pack

Custody receipts, the approved valuation, the signed executor instruction, the evidence of the sale or transfer and the settlement statement, filed for the estate.

No obligation to attend a meeting

Refer, upload and instruct through the portal. Our team contacts you only when a decision or a document is needed.

What your firm sees

A matter record, not an email thread.

  • Matter list and dashboardEvery matter your firm has referred, its status and who holds the next action, in one view.
  • Document registerVersions, who uploaded what and when, and the scan verdict before anything can be opened.
  • Custody summaryThe custody region, the receipt and the custody history. The site's identity and storage positions are not shown outside the site.
  • Timeline and auditEvery status change and instruction, with the reason and the person responsible.
  • BillingFee schedule, invoices and statements, paid by EFT against the invoice number.

What we need from you

  1. To open the matter: your firm, your name and email, and the name of the deceased.
  2. To verify authority: the letters of executorship or authority and the executor's identity evidence, uploaded through a secure link.
  3. To progress: the executor's contact details so we can invite them to review the valuation and sign the instruction.

Licence copies, the Master reference and the inventory schedule help but can follow later.

Fees and money

Fees by invoice. Proceeds never through us.

Professional fees are set out in an approved fee schedule and invoiced to the firm or the estate. Payment is by EFT using the invoice number as reference; no card payments are taken. Proceeds of any sale settle directly from the dealer to the estate or the attorney trust account. Payment status never affects whether a firearm is released.

Firm accounts

The referrer's acknowledgement email carries a personal link that creates the firm's portal on first use. Colleagues are invited by the firm administrator; each matter is scoped to the firm that referred it.
